Received a question through SMS from Adik tadi while I was sitting in my office chair surfing the net. The question:
How true is it that Muslims cannot celebrate Jan/Dec calendar’s new year?
Terfikir jugak sejenak pasal question dia, tapi Alhamdulillah diberi ilhm untuk menjawab. And th reply was:
Maybe pasal Gregorian calendar celebrates more than 30 days in some months. Org Islam tak boleh celebrate more than 30 days in a month, tu pasal calendar Islam cuma palng banyak ada 30 days. After 30 days, by hook or by crook, nampak anak bulan or not, the next day must be a new month. For every day yang disambut after 30 days, is the number of days you spend in Hellfire. Allahu a’lam.

Dah lama jugak tak dengar orang salah anggap aku sebagai foreigner. Dah ke berapa kali tah ni.. It’s either Filipino or Vietnamese.
